Students in the English Language Development program at Bala Cynwyd Middle School shared dishes from their native countries with classmates and staff last week.

Teacher Joan Thomas, who shared a photo of the proud students, said, "The kids did an awesome job. There were lots of smiles and we all had a wonderful time."

Lower Merion School District is proud to serve families from around the world with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Currently, 29 languages are spoken by Lower Merion students. Some students come to the District speaking little English, while others have more advanced skills. The District offers services to English learners of all levels. All of these students and families enrich our community
