The 10th Annual Education Foundation of Lower Merion "Run for Our Schools" will take place on Sunday, June 2 at 9:00 a.m. – rain or shine! This community-wide event starts and ends at the Harriton High School stadium and includes a 5K run, a 1.5-mile walk and a Tot Trot for the youngest children. Prizes will be awarded for top individuals overall and by age group in the 5K. You can also run for YOUR school in a team. The event will feature a fitness fair and various area vendors. Check in for the event will be held from 7:45 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. on race day, but participants can pick up their bibs and get a pre-race shirt at Lower Merion High School at a date and time that will be announced in the near future. Participants can also register on the day of the event.
The 5K begins at 9 a.m. and the route is an out-and-back course that starts and ends at the Harriton High School track. Age categories for the 5K are:9 years and under; 10-11; 12-14; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; and 60 and up. Registration cost is $25 up until May 30, when the price will increase. Family registration costs $70 and must be done online. Family can be up to 5 members of the same household.
