The Harriton High School Student Council recently hosted their annual school-wide fundraiser "Dr. Harriton" in front of a sold-out crowd in the Rams' auditorium. This year's event shattered previous fundraising records as the Harriton school community raised an impressive $35,239 for the Lower Merion Township Scholarship Fund and Ronald McDonald House.
Representing their school in this year's contest were Zeke Millrood, Ryan Dieudonne, Tai Groeneveld, Michael Becker, Ben Newman, Graham Branscom, Michael deBotton, Matthew Pearl, Jonathan Levit and Scott Blender. The competitors did their best to win over the audience and judges throughout evening as they participated in a series of fun-filled and entertaining events including a talent portion, catwalk, Q&A, several dance routines and more. When all was said and done and the votes were finally tallied, it was the dynamic dancing senior Tai Groeneveld who ultimately took home top honors – a Golden Stethoscope – and the title of Dr. Harriton. Fellow seniors Matt Pearl and Zeke Millrood finished in second and third place, respectively. To view a slideshow of pictures from the event, click on the image below!
