Congratulations Lower Merion High School's Class of 2018!

On Wednesday, June 6, Lower Merion High School celebrated the 2018 Commencement Exercises in front of a packed house at St. Joseph's University's Michael J. Hagan Arena as 367 Aces walked across the stage to receive their diplomas!

Principal Sean Hughes, who served as the Master of Ceremonies throughout the evening, introduced Molly Kaiser and Nain Park, who offered the Senior Class Oration and Salutary Address, respectively. Remarks by School Board President Dr. Melissa R. Gilbert were followed by the Valedictory Remarks from Jacob Stanger and an address by Superintendent Robert Copeland. Principal Hughes then provided some additional words to his 2018 senior class, which was followed by the awarding of diplomas by Mr. Copeland and School Board members.

Lower Merion Summer Cafe

A free summer meal program where all kids 18 years of age and younger can receive a meal and join other children for sports, games, and other activities!

Representatives of the Lower Merion School District will hold a public information session at 7:00 p.m. on June 26, in the cafeteria at Penn Wynne Elementary School, to discuss their application to extend the approval of the temporary classrooms at PWES.

The Lower Merion Board of School Directors is pleased to announce that the Lower Merion Education Association has agreed to accept the recommendations of the non-binding arbitrator for a new three-year contract, which the Board approved at its meeting Monday night.
