Welsh Valley Instrumentalists Shine, Showcasing Musical Growth at Spring Concert

Welsh Valley Middle School’s Concert Band recently took center stage during the Dragons’ spring concert series, showcasing the hard work and musical growth students have demonstrated throughout the school year.

“This is an exceptionally hard-working and talented group of students who had an amazing spring concert performance,” said music teacher Carmen Vieytez, who conducts music ensembles at both Welsh Valley and Bala Cynwyd middle schools.

“These videos demonstrate a product we are so proud of,” Vieytez continued. “Not only are students building musical skills in fifth-grade band, but they are also developing critical thinking, collaboration, responsibility and perseverance through challenges.”
