LMHS Raises Over $14K as Elliott Boldin Is Named “Amazing Ace”

Lower Merion High School’s annual Amazing Ace returned for its 16th year, bringing together students, staff, families and friends for a fun-filled showcase of talent and school spirit—all for a great cause! By the end of the night, junior Elliott Boldin earned the title of Amazing Ace, and the LMHS community raised more than $14,000 to support a collection of meaningful causes.

This year’s Hunger Games–inspired theme—The Ace Games—raised the stakes as competitors took on a series of crowd-pleasing challenges, including a catwalk, a hip-hop dance, a Q&A segment, individual talent performances and a partner dance. Seniors Chase Pearlman, Zach Levin and Maya Zada served as emcees, guiding contestants and the audience through the evefning with humor and enthusiasm.

Competing for the crown this year were seniors Amit Brenner, Shira Dorff, Lily Hinze, James Potter, Katie Potts-Drew, Aaron Silber and Audrey Smith, along with eventual winner Elliott Boldin, who earned the top spot after a standout vocal performance while competing on behalf of The Liv Project, an organization dedicated to preventing youth suicide.

The night also featured standout performances from Ace Harmony, LM’s a cappella group, and the LM Dance Team, whose dynamic routines added to the excitement on stage.

Beyond entertainment, Amazing Ace continues to make a meaningful difference through its charitable impact. Proceeds benefit the senior class, the contestants’ chosen charities and the Sean Hughes Memorial Fund, honoring Lower Merion’s late principal. A longtime emcee and central figure in the event’s history, Mr. Hughes helped shape Amazing Ace into the tradition it is today, and his legacy remains deeply woven into the fabric of the program.

With its blend of showmanship, generosity and school pride, Amazing Ace remains one of LMHS’s most anticipated traditions. Congratulations to this year’s Amazing Ace, Elliott Boldin, and thank you to all who participated, attended and contributed to another exceptional event!
