Aces Host 12th Annual 'CodeLM' Programming Competition at Fluxspace

Lower Merion High School recently hosted the 12th annual CodeLM programming competition at Fluxspace in Norristown, bringing together more than 100 student programmers from over a dozen high schools across the Greater Philadelphia area.

The yearly event gives high school students with a passion for computer science an opportunity to put their coding knowledge and problem-solving skills to the test in a collaborative, competitive setting. Teams worked through programming challenges while connecting with peers from across the region who share an interest in coding, technology and innovation.

Hosted at Fluxspace for the sixth consecutive year, CodeLM continues to provide students with a meaningful opportunity to sharpen their skills, think critically and experience the excitement of real-time competition. In a social media post about the event, Fluxspace wrote, “Days like this are a powerful reminder that the next generation of innovators isn’t somewhere in the distant future...they’re already building, solving and competing today!”

Huge credit goes to the educators and mentors who make CodeLM possible each year, as well as to Susquehanna International Group, LLP for its continued sponsorship of the event.

CodeLM has become a standout tradition for Lower Merion’s computer science community, showcasing both the talent of student programmers and the growing enthusiasm for STEM education across the region.
