The 16th Annual Dr. Harriton Competition sponsored by the Student Council recently returned to the stage in Rosemont as the Rams set a new school record raising a staggering $84,336.54 benefiting a pair of important causes: the Lower Merion Township Scholarship Fund (LMTSF), which provides need-based scholarships and funding for after-school programs, and the Bethesda Project, a non-profit providing shelter, support and resources for adults experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia.
The ten talented students competing for this year's coveted title of Dr. Harriton were John Timmons, Mason Flanagan, Giuseppe Spensierato, PJ Kosloff, Julian Greene, Elias Catania, Gugi Sola, Alexandros Pratsos, Joey Beh and Jordan Pearl. The contestants gave it their all throughout an entertaining evening in a series of dances and displays of talent, but when it was all said and done, it was senior Jordan Pearl who ultimately convinced the crowd and judges that he was worthy of the title Dr. Harriton!
