Gladywne Unveils New Wolf Statue

The weather was dreary, but that didn't dampen the excitement outside Gladwyne Elementary School as Principal Ellers and the school's wolf mascot unveiled a new wolf statue on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

The bronze wolf statue was donated by the Home & School Association. Students voted on the artwork's name -- choosing "Wolfgang," which garnered 254 of the total 549 votes submitted.

The new addition to the school grounds symbolizes the strength and unity of the school community. And the name embodies the spirit and energy of Gladwyne's students.

The statue will long stand as a reminder of the school's supportive parent/guardian community and the vibrant voice of its students.
