Time to Download or Update Your LMSD.org Mobile App

All the news and information you're looking for about LMSD is available in the palm of your hand with the LMSD.org mobile app. 

If you haven't downloaded the app, now's a great time to do so. And if you already have our app on your phone or other mobile device, make sure you update to the new version today!

The updated app is available in both the App Store and Google Play. Just search "Lower Merion School Dist." and click to download. 

Once you have the app on your device, you’ll see a login screen that asks for your username. If you’ve already created an account on our website, sign in to the app using your existing username and password. If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create one by following the steps here. (Note: your website login is different from your PowerSchool Portal login).

Once you’re logged in, click on the circle with your initials, and then on "Settings." There, under "Posts," you can filter which website posts are sent to your app.

Use the toggle buttons to turn on posts for topics you want to see and turn off posts for topics you don’t. We suggest that you keep “District Information” turned on, so that you don’t miss any important District-wide updates or alerts.

Sometimes, you may want to access a school’s information on the full lmsd.org website, rather than the app. To do that, click the word “More” under the four little squares at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to a list of all of our schools, as well as the "Who to Call" resource guide and our searchable staff directory.

Also under the "More" menu, you can click on a school name, which will take you to that school’s page on the full website. From there, you use the “hamburger menu” – that’s those three little stripes at the top corner – or the magnifying glass search tool, to find additional information.
