Rams & Aces Sweep State Science Olympiad

The Harriton and Lower Merion Science Olympiad teams recently competed in the 2023 Pennsylvania Science Olympiad State Tournament where the two District squads delivered dominant performances finishing in first and second place, respectively! By taking the top-two spots, the Rams and Aces earned both of Pennsylvania’s bids to the National Science Olympiad Tournament, which will be held at Wichita State University on May 19-20, 2023.

Harriton finished with an impressive 19 top-three finishes overall, including eight individual gold medals, and earned at least one individual accolade in all 23 events. Lower Merion was right behind the Rams throughout the tournament as the Aces collected 12 top-three finishes overall, including a pair of gold medals in individual events.

Congratulations to both teams on their outstanding results at states and best of luck at Nationals! Let’s go, Aces & Rams!
