Pumped Up Panthers Have Some Halloween Fun at Penn Valley!

Almost every day of the year, the faculty and staff at Penn Valley Elementary School are known to comport themselves with grace and humility, and certainly without any kind of inflated sense of self...every day except Halloween, perhaps, as a portion of Panthers' teachers came to school dressed in funny and flamboyant inflatable costumes! There was a puffed-up parrot, koala, shark, monkey, sloth, dinosaur, upside-down clown and a pair of unicorns, among others.

Later in the day, much to the delight of the cheering students, all of the aerated educators ran (or waddled) a highly anticipated race around the baseball diamond. The competition was spirited and tightly contested, but ultimately ended in a photo finish between the monkey and koala.

All in all, it was a Halloween full of fun at Penn Valley! Check out the slideshow below to see some more of the Panthers' cool and creative costumes!
