Penn Valley Learns About Oral Hygiene during National Children’s Dental Health Month

In honor of February being National Children’s Dental Health Month, Penn Valley Elementary School welcomed Dr. Hal Cohen, who filled in students about his career as a dentist and the importance of practicing good oral hygiene. Not only is Dr. Cohen a dentist, but he is also a dad to Penn Valley third grader, Gabe, who happily assisted his father during an educational and entertaining talk on teeth!

Thank you to Dr. Cohen for volunteering some time out of his busy schedule to share his floss-ophy on dental health with students, and don't forget to check out the (tooth) pics from the visit below!

NCDHM brings together thousands of dedicated professionals, healthcare providers, and educators to promote the benefits of good oral health to children, their caregivers, teachers and many others. For more information about NCDHM, please visit the American Dental Association (ADA) website!
