Lower Merion High School’s Natalia Kasmer has been named Main Line Girls Athlete of the Week! A dynamic guard with a well-rounded skill set, Kasmer has been a key contributor for the Aces (14-10) this winter, averaging 10.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.0 steal per game. Last month, the talented freshman made history, setting a program record with 28 points against Penncrest.
Kasmer’s athleticism extends beyond the basketball court—she also competes in field hockey and lacrosse for Lower Merion. Off the field, she is an active member of Student Council.
Sports excellence runs in the family. Her cousin, Carson Kasmer, is a standout for the LM boys' basketball team and was named Main Line Boys Athlete of the Week in January. Her grandfather, Gary Kasmer, played basketball at Upper Darby High School and Temple University in the early 1960s.
"Natalia is a consistent, level-headed contributor on the floor and a major reason why we're 14-10, back in the Central League playoffs for the first time since 2011-12, and heading to districts, " said Lower Merion girls head coach Erin Laney.
