LMSD Well-Represented at 2025 National TSA Conference

Lower Merion School District was well-represented earlier this summer at the 2025 National Technology Student Association (TSA) Conference, held June 27–July 1 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Students from Harriton and Lower Merion high schools, as well as Bala Cynwyd, Black Rock and Welsh Valley middle schools, joined more than 10,000 TSA members from across the country and internationally, showcasing their creativity, leadership and technical expertise on the national stage.

Highlights of the week included top finishes across all five schools:

  • Welsh Valley – Levy Kovalchuk earned 1st place in Digital Photography, while Emily Goldstein, Kailin Wang, Cassandra Bush, Eric Lin, Lucy Pratz and Violet Romeo captured 3rd place in Chapter Team.
  • Harriton – Riya Sharma celebrated a 2nd place finish in the Future Technology & Engineering Teacher event.
  • Bala Cynwyd – Josh Anafi, Alex Dieu and Elliott Moritz earned 3rd place in Data Science & Analytics.
  • Black Rock – Alexander An and Andrew Yoon captured 1st place in Electrical Applications, while Grace Liu earned 3rd place in Children’s Stories and Mireya Verma took 3rd place in Career Prep.

LMSD is immensely proud of the students and teachers whose hard work and dedication throughout the year not only led to outstanding results at the national level, but also exemplify the excellence and spirit of our District community!
