Starting with this summer’s class sessions, LMSD’s Transportation Department is replacing the current BusStatus app with a new app called StopFinder.

StopFinder is an all-in-one app where you will be able to:

• See the schedule of your child’s bus and their bus stop
• Get push notifications related to your child’s bus schedule and any changes, such as bus number or driver changes
• See when your child is getting to their bus stop or school by setting up GeoAlerts
• See bus substitutions because they are clearly indicated – reducing misinformation and confusion
• Track multiple buses, a great feature if your children ride different buses
• Get bus information in multiple languages

In StopFinder, access to student schedules is granted ONLY to the student’s designated contacts from PowerSchool. StopFinder contacts (parents/guardians in PowerSchool) may choose to share their student’s schedule with caregivers (sub-subscribers).

If your student will be riding LMSD Transportation for summer classes, you will receive an invitation via email on June 25, 2025, with a link and information needed to set up your StopFinder account. You will receive a separate email with their bus information. StopFinder and bus information for the 2025-2026 school year will be shared in late August.

Please delete the current BusStatus app on June 17, 2025, the last day of this school year.
