Lower Merion High School’s boys soccer team has been recognized by United Soccer Coaches with the High School Team Academic Award for their outstanding performance in the classroom during the 2024–25 academic year!
The Aces, under the leadership of head coach Nico Severini, posted an impressive team GPA of 3.56, well above the award threshold of 3.25.
This national honor was awarded to just 302 soccer teams across the country (128 boys teams and 174 girls teams) whose players collectively achieved academic excellence. The team GPA is calculated by averaging the GPA of every player on the roster, underscoring the collective commitment to academic achievement as well as athletic performance.
Congratulations to Coach Severini and all of the participating Aces on this tremendous achievement!
