Lower Merion High School’s Viola Wilent recently competed at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals Track & Field Championships at Philadelphia’s legendary Franklin Field, where the standout sophomore placed fourth overall in the pole vault with a jump of 12’ 9.5”. Wilent’s mark ranks 43rd nationally among all female high schoolers this year, and fifth among sophomores. Her exceptional performance at this year’s NBON Championships earned her All-American honors!
