Knights, Royals & Dragons Shine in the Schuylkill Valley Area Orchestra Festival

Selected musicians from Bala Cynwyd, Black Rock and Welsh Valley middle schools recently participated in the annual Schuylkill Valley Area Orchestra Festival, hosted this year at Tredyffrin-Easttown Middle School. The festival, now in its 50th year, brings together students and directors from ten local middle schools to form an advanced symphonic orchestra. Rigorous rehearsals took place over three days, followed by a performance for friends and family. LMSD's middle school orchestra directors – Gabe Romero, Peter Oswald, Laura Norris and Marybeth McCarrick – are so proud of these musicians for their hard work and dedication!
