Harriton High School recently hosted the 18th annual Dr. Harriton in front of a packed auditorium filled with students, staff, family and friends. This school-wide fundraiser and talent competition is Harriton’s flagship event, consistently raising tens of thousands of dollars for meaningful causes.
This year, the Rams raised a remarkable $61,237.24 for two impactful organizations: the Lower Merion Township Scholarship Fund (LMTSF), which provides need-based scholarships and after-school program funding, and Jerseys4Kids, a nonprofit founded by former Harriton student Massi Agosti during his battle with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. Jerseys4Kids brings joy to children fighting cancer by gifting them autographed jerseys from their favorite athletes while also raising funds for pediatric cancer research.
The competition itself was fierce, with ten talented seniors vying for the coveted title of Dr. Harriton: Megan Nieh, Henry Carson, Ethan Ruderman, Autumn Gordon, Musa Khan, Christina Zhang, Russel Chau, Bryce Siegel, Vaughn Burke and eventual champion Sam Beh.
Bringing Dr. Harriton to life each year is no small feat—it takes the collective effort of the entire Rams’ community. From dedicated administrators and custodial staff to teachers who volunteered their time to supervise rehearsals and serve as judges—especially event sponsor Mr. DiPaul—this production would not be possible without their support. Additionally, countless students contributed behind the scenes, including members of Student Council, the Production Team and the Tech, Art and HarritonTV crews, all working together to make the night unforgettable.
Once again, Dr. Harriton proved to be more than just a competition—it was a celebration of talent, resilience and the power of community! Check out a slideshow of images from the event below!
