Harriton Science Olympiad Continues National Success with Top-Five Finish

Harriton High School’s Science Olympiad team recently delivered another outstanding performance on the national stage, finishing fifth overall at the National Science Olympiad Tournament at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Competing against the top teams from across the country, Harriton earned individual honors in nine of the tournament’s 23 events, including one bronze medal, three silver medals and one gold medal in Dynamic Planet. Charlotte Laetsch and Andrew Cicalese, both juniors, captured the national title in the event with their first-place finish.

The Rams’ fifth-place finish capped another exceptional season for one of the nation’s premier Science Olympiad programs. Harriton students earned the following individual honors:
