Harriton High School’s Science Olympiad team earned a remarkable second-place finish at the recent 2025 National Science Olympiad, held at the University of Nebraska! This historic result adds to Harriton’s distinguished legacy in regional, state and national competitions and is a testament to the team’s incredible preparation, teamwork and dedication throughout the season.
The Rams were led by senior captains Alex Brown, Jon Chen and Rebecca Ives, each of whom earned multiple individual accolades at the tournament. Their leadership and tireless work ethic played a pivotal role in the team’s overall success.
The National Science Olympiad is one of the most prestigious science competitions in the country, bringing together exceptional STEM students from across the United States. Competing at this level requires months of rigorous training and mastery across a wide range of scientific disciplines. Students who earn top 20 placements in their events have accomplished something extraordinary—medaling is a mark of elite academic excellence and preparation.
