Gladwyne Students Get Slimy at STEAM Camp

Third graders in Jenn Welby Gilbert’s class at Gladwyne Elementary School recently enjoyed a week-long STEAM Camp (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics) as they engaged in a variety of fun, hands-on learning opportunities inspired by their curricular lessons, including an Hour of Code, engineering design projects, interdisciplinary art activities connected to their English Language Arts (ELA) studies, messy chemistry lessons and more!

One of the many highlights of the week can definitely be classified under the "messy chemistry lesson" category as the kids got their hands dirty making SLIME! To see a slimy series of images from the activity, click through the slideshow below!
