Fourth Graders Find Their Forte at “Meet the Instrument” Night

Fourth-grade students from across LMSD recently gathered at Lower Merion High School for Meet the Instrument Night, an annual event hosted by the District’s music departments in partnership with Zeswitz Music.

The evening gave students a chance to get up close with a wide range of instruments, try a few for themselves and talk with music teachers and high school student musicians about what might be a good fit. For many students, it was their first real opportunity to hold and play some of the instruments they’ll soon be choosing from as they begin instrumental music.

Families also had a chance to learn more about the District’s music program and ask questions along the way.

A big thank you to our dedicated music teachers, Zeswitz Music and all of the students and families who came out and made the evening such a fun start to the instrumental music experience!
