Dr. Graziosi-Hibbs Recommended to Join Student Services Department

Dear LMSD Community,

I am pleased to share that at the June 16, 2025, meeting of the Lower Merion Board of School Directors, I will be recommending Dr. Steph Graziosi-Hibbs to become LMSD’s new Supervisor of Student Services for Counseling, Testing and Holistic Supports. She will report directly to Kimberly Fraser, Director of Student Services and Special Education.

Dr. Graziosi-Hibbs has served as an assistant principal at Harriton High School since 2022, having joined the Harriton team a year earlier as a counselor. She will transition to her new role over the summer, while continuing to support Mr. Warshawer and the rest of the Harriton administrators as we conduct a search for a new assistant principal.

Dr. Graziosi-Hibbs will be replacing Rich Marta, to whom we owe a debt of gratitude. Mr. Marta retired a year ago but continued to work as a consultant for our Student Services Department throughout this school year. I wish him well as he will finally get to relax and enjoy his well-deserved retirement.

In anticipation of her new role, Dr. Steph Graziosi-Hibbs said, “I’m excited to bring both my experience as a school counselor and as a building administrator to the District level, so that I can continue to support students, as well as the members of the Student Services counseling team.”

Prior to joining LMSD, Dr. Graziosi-Hibbs worked as a counselor in the Central Bucks, Plainview Old-Bethpage and Philadelphia school districts. She is a first-generation college student who is fluent in Italian. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in psychology and criminal justice from Drexel, a master’s in school counseling from NYU and a doctorate in educational leadership from St. Joe’s. She is a visiting faculty member in the psychology department at Bryn Mawr College, as well as being a mom, athlete and coach.

Pending Board approval, I look forward to welcoming Dr. Graziosi-Hibbs to the District Administration.

Sincerely,

Dr. Frank Ranelli
Superintendent
