Don’t Wait to Register Your Student for LMSD!

NOW is the time to register your new student so they can begin the 2026-2027 school year on time.

While LMSD’s New Student Registration remains open year-round, students who are not registered until mid-August or later:

• May not be able to begin school on the first day
• May have to wait for a school bus assignment
• May be more likely to be partner-schooled

To begin the Registration process, visit the Registration page of the District website. There you will find:

• A list of the documents you will need to register your student
• Information about vaccination requirements
• Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

Please note:

• Families new to the District may not begin the registration process until residency within the District is established.
• New student registration is required for younger siblings, even if an older sibling is a current student.
  • Registration is not “per family.” A new registration is required for each new student who will attend school.
• Students who attended school in LMSD during the 2025-2026 school year do not have to re-register.
• LMSD Families who move over the summer must inform LMSD of their change of address.
