Class of 2026 Comes Full Circle at Elementary Alma Maters

Before officially becoming Aces and Rams alumni at their respective graduation ceremonies, members of the Class of 2026 returned to their elementary alma maters at Penn Valley, Penn Wynne and Cynwyd for a series of full-circle celebrations.

On June 1, graduating seniors from Harriton and Lower Merion high schools returned to Penn Valley for one final stroll through the halls they once called home. It had been more than a decade since these soon-to-be graduates were Penn Valley Panthers, but the memories came rushing back as they hugged former teachers, high-fived current students and soaked in cheers from younger Panthers lining the hallways.

The visit offered a full-circle moment for the graduates, who gathered for a special group photo after the walkthrough to mark the occasion.

Similar scenes played out at other LMSD elementary schools, as graduating seniors who once attended Penn Wynne and Cynwyd returned to their respective elementary alma maters to commemorate the milestone. Former Cynwyd Owls gathered on the school steps for a special group photo, while Penn Wynne Penguins posed for a photo with their former principal, Shawn Bernatowicz.

Congratulations to all of the Aces and Rams in the Class of 2026!
