Bulldogs Explore the Natural World at Riverbend

Belmont Hills Elementary School kindergarteners recently boarded a bus and made their way to the Riverbend Environmental Education Center (RECC) in Gladwyne, where the Bulldogs spent the day trekking the trails and wandering the woods, learning about science first-hand while immersed in the greenery of the beautiful Spring Mill Road Preserve.

Throughout the day, Belmont Hills’ nascent naturalists enjoyed a series of hands-on, inquiry-based activities at stations around Riverbend’s 30-acre preserve as they got their hands dirty exploring the natural world and investigating introductory environmental concepts.
