 Black Rock Spotlight Shines in Fall Production

Bravo to the talented cast and crew of Black Rock Spotlight for an outstanding run of their original fall musical, Shop-A-Lot!

Written and directed by Black Rock Middle School teacher Kevin Ginsburg, this clever and heartfelt production told the story of an old-school grocery store facing a new wave of self-checkout technology — blending humor, heart and timely themes about connection and change.

Audiences were treated to incredible performances, catchy songs and plenty of laughter as students brought the aisles of Shop-A-Lot to life on stage. From the imaginative set design to the energetic choreography, every detail reflected the creativity and collaboration that make Black Rock’s theater program so special.

Congratulations to all of the students and staff who helped make Shop-A-Lot such a resounding success!
