Breaking news! This year, 45 fourth-grade students at Merion Elementary School worked hard to produce a pair of excellent issues of Merion Muse, the Mustangs' school newspaper. These nascent reporters attended twice-monthly meetings, learned journalism basics and composed engaging articles on everything from Merion current events and teacher profiles to restaurant reviews, science news, pop culture curiosities and so much more!
The Muse is funded by the Merion Home & School Association (HSA) and run by a dedicated group of parent-volunteers and teachers who are passionate about giving students the opportunity to express themselves through writing and share their ideas and experiences with the community!
