The Lower Merion High School boys' basketball team recently captured the program's third PIAA 6A District One Championship in the last four years as they topped pesky Central Athletic League (CAL) foe Garnet Valley 57-49 at Temple University's Liacouras Center!
The Aces (28-1) followed up the District title with a lopsided victory over Cedar Crest in the opening round of the state playoffs, setting up a second-round showdown with a tough Archbishop Wood team that boasts a pair of highly-touted division one recruits. The game is set for Wednesday, March 13 at Bensalem High School. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. To read an in-depth preview of the game on the City of Basketball Love website, click here.
