A Message from Dr. Steven Yanni

A Message from Superintendent Steven M. Yanni, Ed.D

Following much personal reflection, I have decided to transition from my role as Superintendent of the Lower Merion School District and take on the opportunity to serve the community where I live as Superintendent of the Central Bucks School District.

I will continue to serve Lower Merion as superintendent through the end of the school year, and I remain 100% committed to supporting the Board and our community through this transition process.

The Lower Merion School District Board of School Directors will begin a local and national search for the next superintendent, including opportunities for stakeholder input and community engagement to inform the qualities and capabilities to be incorporated into the position description and candidate profile.

Together, we have done great work, and I have every confidence in the Board's ability to select a capable and dedicated leader who will build on our shared successes.

Thank you, Lower Merion, for welcoming me into your community.
