Bulldogs Meet ChompSaw Inventors

Third- and fourth-grade STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) students had the unique opportunity of meeting the inventors of a tool they use in class.

Kausi Raman and Max Liechty invented the ChompSaw, a child-friendly saw that can be used to cut cardboard to create STEM projects.

Raman and Liechty spoke with the students about how they came up with the idea and created multiple prototypes before finalizing the product design. 

They also shared what it was like to appear on Shark Tank, and how they have now sold 100,000 ChompSaws. 

The ChompSaw workshop is located in Narberth and one of the inventors will have a kindergarten student at Belmont Hills next year.
