The linked sites include content at varying reading
levels. An attempt was also made to include links
to pages with photos and interesting graphics.

In these videos, students explored
a specially designed website about insects found
in the local environment. Students used the insect
web site and teacher prepared datasheets and graphic
organizers to gather information about an insect.
This page is aimed at differentiating instruction. Students select from various activities to learn more about ants. The activities students choose from allow them to pursue this investigation while focusing on their own talents and interests.
These worksheets are different versions of an addition
and subtraction math activity that can be completed
on the computer. Students could use a calculator
to assist in calcualtions.
Various templates to use to study and learn about
ants. There are both AppleWorks and .pdf versions
of each. The AppleWorks versions allow students
to enter data into the template on the computer
or on a printed version.
This document is an AW 6 version of
a Mealworm Science Journal. It contains instructions
and resources for several mealworm science activities.
The updated version can be used to print the document
to be completed by students by hand or students can
complete the document on the computer.
