This web page was adapted from a page that was much
too difficult for first grade students to understand even if the teacher
read the page to them. In this adaptation, the important information
was kept but put into more concise and simple language. It was developed
as a page that could be displayed on a projector and discussed as
it was read to the students. |

Students drag the appropriate phase of moon graphic from the top of the page to the calendar at the bottom. (Appleworks 6 document)
To set the calendar, just type a 1 in the appropriate slot on the calendar and then delete the content of the days before it and those beyond the last day of the month.
