This database file will produce self-correcting practice exercises on the computer or it can be used to generate printed quizzes and answer keys. Although it currently contains a couple of lists of math terms, these could be deleted and the structure could be used for any terms to be studied. Teachers just need to enter the definition and word and a little organizational information, such as Unit, Chapter, Grouping etc. by which to organize entries. It could hold terms used for various curricular areas.

| *The files above are AW Spreadsheet templates that can be printed or completed in AW 6 (Click to Download the Template- Requires Appleworks). The Math templates folder contains material on addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. It is not divided by grade level.
All of the materials tell students whether they are correct or need to try again. Some templates also keep track of the number correct and indicate the time taken to complete the entire page correctly. The timer on some sheets begins when a student enters his/her name so that is what they should do first. This timer feature is intended to allow students to attempt to beat their own times as they develop skill and facility. |
