While literacy skills (reading,
writing, listening, speaking, and researching) are integral
to all areas of the curriculum projects, the activities and
resources listed here are especially relevant to these skills.
These templates may be useful in their present form for
gathering and reporting biographical data. The wording could
also be modified and the files could be resaved as new templates
for other purposes.
This is a Wants-Needs writing activity that engages students
in thinking about the differences between wants and needs
while developing their thinking, organizing, and writing skills
while using technology as a tool to help them with these skills.
This database contains about 8,000 books that have been
leveled according to Fountas and Pinnel Guided Reading Levels.
These levels are cross-refernced with several other scales
for the same books.
