NTAP Technology Resources

The LMSD New Teacher Assistance Program is designed to help teachers familiarize themselves with district initiatives, curriculum, and protocol. Although the orientation program lasts for one week, teachers can still utilize this site as ongoing support, specifically for technology resources.

Listed below are many of the technology resources all new LMSD staff members should familiarize themselves with.  We will continue to add resources, so check back frequently as this page will continue to be updated!

Aesop
This is the online center to call out sick and/or report days off. Your username is your 10 digit phone number, and the password is the last 4 digits of your social security number. For questions regarding AESOP, contact Mora Egan or Human Resources.

Powerschool
This is where you will access student information, report attendance, print mailing labels etc. For questions concerning powerschool, contact the LMSD Helpdesk.

My Learning Plan
This is where you will report (or someone else will report) ACT 48 hours. The username is your first initial, last initial, and the last 6 digits of your social security number. The password is the same as your username. For more information, contact Jane Butler at Human Resources.

My Files
This is your access to the HOME or SHARED LMSD network folders from outside of the network. You can access them from any Internet Browser. For questions regarding the MYFiles, contact the LSMD Helpdesk.

LMSD Email
LMSD Network password access needed. Use any Internet Browser to access email.

United Streaming
This is a subscription paid by the district. Here you can stream video into your classroom for any subject area and any grade level. Do a quick search or an advanced search to find video to suit your project or lesson. Important: It is recommended that you hardwire (blue ethernet cable) into your computer when streaming video. This link will take you to the LMSD website page with directions on how to set up your United Streaming account.

eBoards: Teacher Webpages
eBoards are simple web pages for teachers to utilize in the classrooms with students for curriculum and instruction and to deliver communication to parents.  First, you will need to create your eboard, then you will need to register it.  When you register your eBoard, it will then appear on the district website.
