The Students in Harriet Ackerman's Art Class at the Lower Merion High School worked on a project where the students did research on an Artist that inspired them to create a piece of jewelry. Frida Kahlo was one of the Artists that inspired students. The class participated in an interactive video conference with the Philadelphia Museum of Art. The Distance Learning Program was called "Art of Frida Kahlo". They used a Tandberg videoconference machine and a Document Camera to project images of the students work to the Philadelphia Museum of Art at the end of the interactive videoconference event. The Philadelphia Museum of Art was impressed with the quality of the work the students displayed.
