LMEA, elementary schools mark Read Across America

In honor of Read Across America and Dr. Seuss's Birthday, the Lower Merion Education Association recently presented a 13-volume treasury of Dr. Seuss classics to each elementary school librarian in the district. Each elementary student also received a bookmark celebrating Dr. Seuss' Birthday.

Pictured above, LMEA's Aimee Avellino (Vice President, Professional) and Lisa McDevitt (Secretary, Support) presented books at Cynwyd. Chris Santa Maria (President) presented books to Belmont Hills, Penn Valley and Gladwyne. LMEA reps Margie Mora and Danita Simon presented to Merion and Penn Wynne schools, respectively.
