About Interschool Council

The Interschool Council (ISC) is an umbrella organization for the ten home and school associations in Lower Merion School District.  ISC strives to enhance education throughout the district by promoting communication among parents/guardians, teachers, school district administrators, the Board of School Directors and the general community. Next ISC Meeting

The ISC holds monthly meetings, which are open to parents and guardians of students attending the LMSD schools.

ISC General and Presidents meetings have concluded for the 09/10 school year.  Check the website in September for the 10/11 school year meeting dates.  Have a great summer!  ISC Executive Board

Announcements

  • NEW May 2010 ISC Parent-to-Parent Guidance Newsletter, focused on transitions click here. For previous editions, click the ISC tab for Guidance Newsletters & Report on the menu to the left.
  • Mini-Grant Program applications closed on March 26, 2010.  This year the ISC received 32 grant proposals.  Funded proposals will be announced in late spring.  Any questions please contact Jennifer Bale-Kushner, ISC Mini Grant Program Chair, at jbalekushner@hotmail.com or 610-667-1895.  You can view past Mini Grant Funded Projects for 2007-08, 2008-09, and 2009-10.

They must have night time availability to attend the school board meetings.
