School Dances
Please take a minute to read through these reminders regarding our school dances. In an effort to keep the students safe, we would like to review some of the rules for the school dances. The doors to the dance open at 7:30pm. The doors will be closed at 8:00pm and no one else will be admitted. Please do not drop your child at the gym door and leave………….make sure he/she has been admitted into the dance. There will be no guests at the dances this year. Tickets will be available during lunch times on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday the week of the dance. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door. We encourage students to purchase their tickets at school so they won’t have to wait in line at the door to purchase a ticket the night of the dance. While at the dance, students will not be allowed to leave the building, unless his/her parent comes into the dance and speaks with a dance chaperone. The dances are over at 9:30pm. Please pick up your child promptly. We will wait outside with the students until 9:45pm. After this time, we will bring the remaining students back into the gym to wait for their parents. If you come after 9:45pm, you will need to come into the gym to pick up your child. Please be considerate of our chaperones. These parents are volunteering their time to insure the safety of your children and they would like to go home after being at the dance all night, so please be on time to pick up your children.
