We welcome you to Penn Valley Elementary School ’s website and invite you to explore the many links which will provide you with useful and important information about our school.
Penn Valley School provides a supportive and nurturing environment in which all children, Kindergarten through grade 5, are active participants in the instructional program. Our highly skilled and dedicated teachers align instruction in accordance to the state standards and the district’s curriculum. They also employ their own creative talents to deliver an educational program that meets the children’s individual needs. In addition to the core curriculum (Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies), we also provide instruction in Physical Education, Music, Art, Spanish and Library Sciences.
Our school is an environment where our community’s racial, ethnic and religious diversity is celebrated. In addition to our regular education program, Penn Valley School is home to children with varying degrees of learning differences, including students with autism, learning and physical challenges. In modeling an embracing and nurturing acceptance of people with special needs, we help our children understand the true meaning of empathy and understanding.
