Writing Center

The goal of the Lower Merion High School Writing Center is to help students develop their writing skills, to "provide both an audience for their peers' ideas as well as an opportunity for others to seek genuine improvement in idea/thesis development, form, style and revision."

Hours of Operation: Lunch 2 on A, B, and C Days

Location: Emery Collection Room (back of the library)

Staff: Writing Fellows: Sophomore, Junior, and Senior volunteers

Writing Center Coordinator: Mrs. Diane M. Shannon

What We Do: We provide you with guidance for any writing assignment: paragraphs, essays, creative pieces, lab reports, or even college essays. The writing assignments can be from any subject area.

When to Come to the Writing Center: Visit us at any stage of the writing process: brainstorming, early draft, later draft, final revisions.

Writing fellows are eager to work with you!
