| Policies & Regulations |
- All participants must be in reasonably good physical condition,
free of contagious disorders, and understand that swimming might be
a vigorous activity.
- All members must be residents of Lower Merion Township and present
current membership cards.
- Certified personnel will be on duty at all times the pool is in operation.
They have complete authority and must be obeyed at all times.
- The School District is NOT responsible for articles lost/stolen while
at the pool.
- Registration for swimming classes will be accepted only during designated
hours.
- Food, drink, or pets are not permitted anywhere within the confines
of the pool complex.
- Parents are not permitted on the pool deck during instructional periods
unless they have a child registered in the program. Parents must remain
on the benches away from the edge of the pool.
- Safety rules and regulations posted in and around the pool will be
strictly adhered to at all times. Persons not complying with these
rules and regulations will be excluded from the pool.
- Locks placed on lockers must be removed at the end of the day.
- During the Friday evening family swim, we will put one lane in for
adults who wish to swim laps; no children of any age will be permitted
in this lane.
- Necessary program changes may be made throughout the year. Please
call the pool office after 4:00 PM to verify starting dates and times.
- Members are permitted to bring a guest to the pool. However, if the
guest is a resident of Lower Merion Township the guest policy will
apply for only one visit. Should they wish to return to the pool they
are encouraged to take out a membership.
Note: The pool will be closed all days the school is closed due to
inclement weather. The weekend aquatic program will be canceled when
there is more than three inches of snow on the ground or if it is
snowing heavily when the class or recreational swim is scheduled.
