Principal's Welcome

Greetings from Harriton!

Mr. Scott Weinstein, Principal

On behalf of the students and staff at Harriton High School, I would like to welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest in our school. I encourage you to become a frequent visitor to our site to learn more about our stellar programs, outstanding student achievements, and curricular initiatives.

It is an honor and a privilege to be the principal of one of the nation's finest public high schools, noted for its rich tradition of academic and co-curricular excellence. In recent years, Harriton has been recognized at the local, regional and national level for student and staff achievements and has been at or near the top of multiple "best schools" lists. Our success is best reflected, however, in daily efforts to provide a fulfilling, challenging, individualized educational experience for each student. We are committed to creating a culture of respect and a safe, nurturing learning environment that supports students' emotional, intellectual, social and physical needs. We understand that this can only be accomplished in partnership with families, through active, meaningful connections between home and school.

Ultimately, the Harriton experience is defined by the efforts of an extraordinary team of dedicated teachers. Our staff members go above and beyond to provide world-class instruction and inspiration every day in the classroom. I am humbled and proud to work with such a capable and committed team. Together we will prepare our students for the road ahead and help them develop the skills necessary to adapt and succeed in a rapidly changing world.

Finally, I believe one of the qualities that makes Harriton so special is our dedication to service. Harriton students and staff spend thousands of hours each year in the community, giving back and making a difference. We are fortunate and grateful to be part of a community with incredible resources and opportunities. A spirit of service to others ensures that we remain grounded, humble, and kind.

I look forward to a successful and intellectually stimulating school year.

Mr. Scott Weinstein
