All workshops are two hours long unless otherwise indicated in the workshop description.
SESSIONS MAY BE CANCELLED as late as the day before it is scheduled due to insufficient registration. Sessions are also subject to cancellation for other reasons. Registrants will be notified of any cancellation by email.
PLEASE READ WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS CAREFULLY, AND REGISTER FOR PREREQUISITE WORKSHOPS FIRST AS NEEDED. Completing prerequisite workshops can be extremely critical for your successful participation in more advanced workshops (e.g., take Web Development Basics before registering for Dreamweaver: Introduction to Advanced Web Design). If you take a workshop for which you are not adequately prepared, you are quite likely to waste your own time or frustrate yourself unnecessarily, and your participation may even slow down the pace of the workshop and frustrate others.
PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE about registering. Try to be sure you can make a session before you register. If there are a number of cancellations, especially just before the session date, those on a waiting list may be bumped in and out repeatedly. Full workshops with a waiting list will have registration frozen a week prior to the session to eliminate bumping in and out with limited notice.
REGISTRATION RESTRICTIONS:
Attention: Registration for Some Workshops Is Restricted These sessions are primarily designed for professional instructional staff. Although we encourage others to take advantage of these staff development opportunities, some sessions are designated For Professional Staff Only. In workshops not so designated, professional staff will have first priority. If there are not enough Professional registrations to fill all of the available slots (typically 15), then Administrative and Support staff and LMSD Substitutes may fill the remaining slots on a first come first serve basis. Registrants other than Professional Staff may get bumped to the waiting list even if registering early for a session. If you do get bumped, you will receive an email from the Tech Office.
YOU MAY NOT REGISTER FOR MORE THAN ONE WORKSHOP SCHEDULED AT THE SAME TIME
YOU MAY NOT REGISTER FOR A SECOND SESSION OF THE SAME WORKSHOP FOR THE NINE-MONTH PERIOD FOLLOWING THE LAST DATE OF ATTENDANCE.
NEW: YOU MAY NOT TAKE A GIVEN WORKSHOP MORE THAN TWICE WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM AND FUNDING FOR ANY ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION FROM YOUR SUPERVISOR OR PRINCIPAL (NOT THE SESSION INSTRUCTOR).
NEW: YOU MAY ONLY ATTEND A WORKSHOP IF YOU HAVE PROPERLY REGISTERED AND ARE NOT ON THE WAITING LIST. COMPENSATION WILL NOT BE GIVEN UNLESS YOU ARE REGISTERED TO ATTEND OR HAVE RECEIVED PRIOR APPROVAL TO ATTEND FROM THE TECHNOLOGY OFFICE (NOT THE SESSION INSTRUCTOR).
