School Supply Lists

Kindergarden

Please send supplies in a labeled paper or plastic bag.
We share supplies, so please DO NOT label each individual item (besides the headphones).

  • 1 Backpack (large enough for library book, school folder, and snack)
  • 1 pack Twistable Crayola Crayons - original color (24 pack)
  • 5 Giant Elmer’s brand (or other acid free) glue sticks
  • 1 bottle Elmer’s Glue
  • 1 thin tip black dry erase marker for white board
  • 1 YELLOW plastic two-pocket folder
  • 1 BLUE plastic two-pocket folder
  • 1 set of headphones (No earbuds, please!)
  • 1 Large Box of Goldfish Crackers, Pretzel Rods, or similar dry snack to share
  • 1 box of tissues
  • 1 container bleach free cleaning wipes
  • 2 rolls of paper towels –Last name A-N
  • 1 package or box of Dixie cups – Last name O-Z

First Grade

  • 12 sharpened yellow pencils (unlabeled, we’ll share these)
  • 12 pack colored pencils
  • 1 pack of Crayola twistable crayons
  • Large Pencil Box (to fit all Twistables, & pencils)
  • 8 pack white board markers
  • 4 Large Glue Sticks (unlabeled, to share)
  • 2 each of the following Double Pocket Folders (unlabeled, to share) (blue, green, yellow, and red)
  • 1 package 3oz Dixie Cups
  • 1 pair of headphones (NOT EARBUDS PLEASE)
  • Clipboard
  • One bottle of white glue
  • 1 box of Facial Tissue
  • Last name A-M 1 box sandwich size plastic bags
  • Last name N-Z 1 roll of Paper towels

Second Grade

Please try to supply the following materials for your child’s use:

  1. 2 scotch tapes
  2. 3 jumbo sized glue sticks
  3. markers, crayons, colored pencils
  4. 1 highlighter
  5. 1 pen
  6. 12 sharpened pencils
  7. 1 pair of kid-sized scissors
  8. 1 clipboard
  9. 4 separate different colored spiral composition books—wide ruled
  10. 1 red, vinyl, 3-prong (fasteners), 2-pocket portfolio
  11. 1, 2-pocket portfolio with fasteners in each of the following colors: yellow, blue, green, purple, and orange. No substitutions, please.
  12. 3 marble composition books
  13. 1 regular sized pencil box
  14. 2 family sized box of tissues
  15. 1 pink wedge eraser
  16. Last name A-N: 1 box zipper style sandwich or quart sized baggies
  17. Last name O-Z: 1 box zipper style gallon bags

Third Grade

Dear Third Graders and Parents,

Welcome to third grade! We are looking forward to getting to know each of you. We are sure that our year together will be both interesting and successful. In September, your teacher will let you know of any additional materials that may be needed for your specific classroom. Please label all supplies with your child’s name. (These supplies are requested but not required- any family who needs help obtaining supplies should speak with Dr. Hart.)

  • 4 jumbo glue sticks
  • 2 dozen sharpened pencils
  • markers
  • crayons (12 or 24 box)
  • scissors
  • clipboard
  • supply box – no larger than 5x8
  • colored pencils
  • 5 folders with pockets (solid colors only please - 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 purple)
  • 3 marble composition books
  • one box of tissues
  • one box sandwich or quart plastic bags
  • 4 dry erase markers
  • 1 white board eraser or a clean sock
  • headphones (in a sealed bag labeled with your child’s name)
  • 1 3 ring binder (1.5 inch) for French

Fourth Grade

Dear Fourth Grade Students,
We are looking forward to meeting you and having a wonderful year with you!  Below is a list of supplies that you may find helpful in fourth grade.  This is only for your convenience and should be considered optional. (These supplies are requested but not required- any family who needs help obtaining supplies should speak with Dr. Hart.)

  • A 7 pocket accordion folder
  • 2 two pocket folders with fasteners
  • 1 wide-ruled 5 subject spiral notebook
  • 1 wide-ruled marble composition book
  • Markers
  • colored pencils
  • a generous supply of pencils
  • a green pen for correcting papers
  • 2 glue sticks
  • a ruler
  • a pencil box (this should be less than 3” tall in order to fit inside the desk)
  • scissors
  • 2 large boxes of tissues
  • 1 set of headphones (Dollar Store headphones are fine.)
  • 1 highlighter
  • 1 3 ring binder (1.5 inch) for French

We will also need clear, 2 liter plastic bottles for our first unit in science. Start saving now - we can use all you save!

Fifth Grade

Dear Fifth Grade Students and Parents,

Welcome to fifth grade! The fifth grade teachers are looking forward to getting to know each of you. We are sure that our year together will be both successful and exciting. (These supplies are requested but not required- any family who needs help obtaining supplies should speak with Dr. Hart.)

  • Accordion file folder made of HEAVY plastic; Approximate size 9” X 14” Suggested Version: Globe Weis 13 Pocket Letter File
  • 5 single subject notebooks (Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies)
  • 3 two pocket folders with fasteners (Science)
  • 1 box (12) thin expo markers
  • Clipboard

  • 1 Fine Point Sharpie Marker (Black)
  • Crayons, or colored pencils
  • Glue stick
  • Scissors
  • Pencils (2 Boxes)

REMINDER: Each fifth grader will be provided with a standard assignment book. Please remember your space for storing supplies is limited. Any pencil boxes/cases should be small enough to fit in the top of your desk.
