The Pennsylvania Department of Health is changing school immunization regulation beginning in August 2017. The regulations are intended to ensure that children attending school in the commonwealth are adequately protected against potential outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases.
Each child in grades K-12 must be immunized by the first day of school and/or have a valid medical certificate, or your school-aged child will not be allowed in school.
