Lower Merion PAGE invites the community to Understanding and Challengeing Your Gifted Child 101 with James LoGiudice on Wednesday, May 31 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the District Administration Building, Room 264.
James LoGiudice has taught, interviewed and counseled thousands of gifted students at all grade levels. He has worked with thousands of teachers and school leaders to develop challenging gifted programs. He will share his insight, experience, and practical know-how for parents and educators of gifted students.
Parenting your gifted child and managing their educational needs can be an overwhelming and often frustrating endeavor. Mr. LoGiudice, an experienced educator involved with gifted students and programing, will describe some basic traits and characteristics of gifted children. His discussion will cover some myths and truths about these kids and include realistic behavioral and learning expectations adults in their lives might have. Mr. LoGiudice will discuss various parenting and schooling considerations for your gifted child as well.
